    P7p55d-e Pro Drivers For Mac

Hi, I am wondering what drivers i should use for this motherboard. I have been using Windows default, i think, as Intel Chipset doesn't seem to really install anything, or if it does the date is off. Cause when i look at the drivers the version was something like 10.x.xx.xx, but the date was 2006. I know installed the latest 'Real' driver i could fine which is 9.1.1.1022, had to manually install some of the drivers. Now the date is 2009 but the version is of course lower. So i am a bit confused to what i should use. With an older motherboard like that one, you would probably want to use the NEWER driver, including the MS driver, than an older driver made for OS before 10.

Asus does not offer any new drivers for Windows 10 or Windows 8 & 8.1: They stopped making drivers for this motherboard at Windows 7: If there are any devices left without a generic Windows driver after installation then you can use the Windows 7 drivers. I would suggest you install these in Compatibility Mode: The Chipset driver is a good one to install from Asus, but if Windows has already installed a current or updated chipset driver for that motherboard the Asus installer will just stop without notice.

Other than that then you could just wait to see if any drivers are offered through Windows Update as you use the PC. Problem is i forced installed all the older ones so now i don't know how to make the new generic one install;( EDIT: Oh wait, the older dates drivers aren't generic. It was actually from an Intel Chipset installer, no idea where i found it though, downloaded it sometime when i got W10. 10:28 AM, or maybe not, it came after i installed som intel thing, but it says 'Microsoft' on the driver, and the version seems to be the OS version or something. EDIT 2: I also had a BSOD it seems as my PC restarted last night. Added the report.

Feb 15, 2016  Looking for LAN drivers for Asus P7P55D-E Pro MOBO Windows 10 Compatib in Drivers and Hardware Hello all, I recently did the upgrade to 10 when they sent it to me. However I didn't really get to use it because there apparently is/was no drivers for the LAN adapter on my MOBO.

Cause not sure if it was caused by a driver or not. I seem to have BSOD from time to time, and i think it's the new GPU it's complicated. How to post screenshots: First, make sure you have Automatic Device Driver Installation enabled: Then, you can go to Device Manager and one at a time, uninstall a device and let it be reinstalled automatically.

Go to Start Settings icon on left Devices Printers (scroll to bottom) Device Manager. Select the first device you want to change right click and choose Uninstall (notice you can also try and update the driver here). If you are asked to delete the driver also, say yes then restart the computer. Normally the device will be reinstalled and working on restart. It will either have a generic Windows 10 driver, or if you were unable to remove the old driver it will have the same driver installed again (we can save those problems for later).

Sometimes you will restart and the device will not be working and there will be a yellow! For these you must manually install the driver. This is where you can install the Windows 7 driver in Compatibility Mode if you want. For the blue screen stop, you should post the problem in the BSOD forum in 10 Forums - follow the posting instructions - and the guys that can read dumps can usually pinpoint what device or driver is the cause of the problem. If you get an answer, post it (or link to it) here. Buying a new motherboard from Asus might be a gamble, at least with the P75P55D-E model. Asus website list the motherboards' features at their web site: Here are some of the features: Marvell® SATA 6Gb/s controller: - 2 x SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports (gray) NEC® USB 3.0 controller: - 2 x USB 3.0 ports (blue; at back panel) Expansion Slots: - 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (single at x16) On the surface, it does sound good, but once the board is fired up, the above selected features are either on or off, depending on the settings.

The chances are that Gigabyte has the same Marvell chip, but I am not sure about their driver. There are some issues with the Marvell chip and on of them is performance.

Here's a benchmark for this chip when the 'IO Levelup' is set to disabled in the P7P55D-E, or in another word the chip performs at SATA 2.0 speed: And here's another image when the 'IO Levelup' is set to SATA 3.0 in the P7P55D-E: While there's a sizable difference between the two benchmarks, there's no true SATA 3.0 throughput even when the BIOS is set to the correct values. The actual sequential read/write throughput should be 300-350 and 120-130 respectively. The other benchmark numbers should also be 10-30% higher as well. Remove office 365 for mac. At the current time it seems that the best support for SATA 3.0 is coming from AMD. The LGA 1155 will have SATA 3.0 support coming out next month, but it remains to be seen just how well it'll perform with SATA 3.0.

My bet would be on very well. In the meantime and since there isn't much choices for me, I'll probably order a P7P55D-E Pro today. At least it'll be an easy drop-in replacement. Similar help and support threads Thread Forum In another support thread here on sevenforums I'm adviced to update the usb drivers for my motherboard, but the asus website doesn't seem to have them.

I have no idea where to look. Windows cannot automatically update the drivers as it claims they are up to date already so I will have to. Drivers Hi all, Any idea what's the best value RAM for the above board? It's been a while and a recent game seems to have boned my RAM (or just pointed out the fact it was already boned) Memtests are failing and the game in question keeps BSOD'ing and crashing to desktop. All was fine before. Hardware & Devices Hey there, I'm using the onboard sound of my ASUS P7P55D motherboard. Hardware & Devices Hi, I have just built a new system and am running windows 7 x64. I have 1600MHz memory but my asus p7p55d motherboard is running at a default 1067MHz. When I first put everything together last week I tried adjusting just one setting in the bios that controls the memory speed.

I boosted it. Hardware & Devices Our Sites Site Links About Us Find Us.
